Philadelphia Union star Cavan Sullivan spent the weekend in Manchester, nine months after agreeing a high profile move to the reigning Premier League champions. The Union product, who made his MLS debut in July, will complete his deal to England's top flight when he turns 18.

Sullivan is one of the most highly rated prospects in American soccer history. The attacking midfielder starred for the Union's MLS Next Pro side this season, and signed a homegrown contract with Philadelphia in the spring. Then-head coach Jim Curtin admitted that Sullivan is ready for top flight action.

Sullivan became the youngest debutant in American sports history when he came off the bench for the Union against New England in July. He was 14 years and 293 days old at the time.
