Nick Woltemade is set for a massive pay rise if he joins Bayern Munich this summer. The striker has already informed Stuttgart that he wants to play for the Bundesliga champions, who are keen on signing the rising star. Stuttgart want to retain the player beyond this summer and have already offered a new contract, however, the Bavarian side's staggering bid might convince him to move out.

According to in Germany, Bayern boss Vincent Kompany and their sporting management team of Max Eberl and Christoph Freund worked behind the scenes to convince Woltemade to make the switch in the summer transfer window. The player has now informed Stuttgart of his wish to join the German giants.

The newly crowned German champions are reportedly set to offer a five-year contract and a basic salary of €7.5 million per year (£6.4m/$8.7m), which could increase to €10 million with bonuses. It's a significant rise from Woltemade's existing salary of €1.5m per season. Stuttgart's new extension offer would have seen him earn €2.5m per year.
