According to German outlet FrankfurterRundschau, Sunderland star Bellingham has turned down a move to Frankfurt after visiting the club with his parents. Jobe, the brother of Real Madrid and England superstar Jude, flew to Germany as he continues to assess his options, but the newly-promoted Black Cats are keen to ensure he remains at the Stadium of Light for their first Premier League campaign since 2016-17.

While it looks like Bellingham has turned down Frankfurt, interest remains from other Bundesliga sides. Dortmund played a major role in his brother's development and are said to be keen on a deal alongside RB Leipzig, though only the former can offer Champions League football next season.
