Arsenal should plot a big-money move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if Aaron Ramsey leaves the club next summer, amid reports from The Sun that contract talks have stalled.
What’s the word?
Manager Unai Emery completed his summer business by recruiting five new players, but the future of Ramsey continues to be a talking point.
The Wales international has less than a year left until his current deal expires, and according to The Sun, negotiations over fresh terms have not progressed.
The newspaper states that Chelsea and Manchester United are circling, and if Ramsey is lured away next summer, then Arsenal need to have a replacement ready.
What about Milinkovic-Savic?
The Gunners are known to tighten the pursestrings every now and again during a transfer window, but they will have to significantly loosen them if they decide to move for the Serbian international.
The midfielder is only 23 years old, but according to Transfermarkt he warrants a staggering value of £81m.
Milinkovic-Savic, who has been linked to the Premier League before, has the ability of an all-round middle man.

The young player has strong defensive qualities, but he is a force in a more attacking midfield position.
That is where Emery should play Milinkovic-Savic if he successfully pursues him as he would be able to provide service to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
A deal is unlikely, but it is certainly one that Arsenal should consider if Ramsey walks away.
