Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech is reportedly a doubt for the latest North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Saturday, and Spurs fans have been quick to have their say on the rumour.
The Independent reported on Tuesday that the 35-year-old may not be fit to start the clash between the arch-rivals after picking up a calf injury during the 5-1 win against Everton at the Emirates Stadium weekend – a problem that saw him replaced by David Ospina.
If the Czech stopper doesn’t make it he will once again be replaced by his Colombia counterpart, but given that Cech hasn’t been at his best this season – his recent mis-kick gifted Swansea City a goal – it may not be too much of a positive for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Tottenham supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the rumour, and while one said it’s “such bad news for us”, another said “that’s a shame for us”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
